Environmental Assessment

Leppert Associates has successfully completed Environmental Assessments for sites across the US (in more than 25 states); three Canadian provinces; and South America. We have developed extensive experience in conducting defensible and regimented environmental assessments required by the USEPA (and associated state agencies having primacy), the USACE, the OSMRE as well as all phases of real estate assessment. Leveraging our experience conducting regimented Environmental Assessments, we are also adept at navigating through more flexible state and local Voluntary Action Programs.

LA has assessed sites administered through the RCRA laws; Superfund or CERCLA; TSCA; NEPA and numerous state Voluntary Action Programs. Our assessments have targeted the delineation of many types of environmental contaminants. Contaminants of concern include inorganic based constituents ranging from salt water intrusion in coastal aquifers to arsenic in residential soils. Organic-based contaminants include chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, and many less common contaminants such as PCBs, dioxins, and MTBE.
